The Japanese manufacturer has introduced three 650 cc motorcycles for the 2027 model year in India, keeping engine output and equipment largely unchanged while adjusting colour schemes and one price point.
Model-year rollout
The retro-styled Z650RS retains its 649 cc parallel-twin, delivering 68 PS and 64 Nm, paired with a six-speed gearbox, Assist & Slipper Clutch, traction control and smartphone connectivity. It is offered in Metallic Ocean Blue and carries an ex-showroom price of ₹7.83 lakh, identical to the previous year. This configuration mirrors the 2026 specification, meaning riders will experience the same power delivery and handling characteristics they are already familiar with.
Equipment such as the round LED headlamp, dual-dial instrumentation and LCD display remain unchanged, reinforcing the bike’s classic appearance and ensuring that the visual identity stays true to the original concept.
The adventure-oriented Versys 650 also stays at ₹8.63 lakh, matching its predecessor. It continues with a 649 cc twin that produces 67 PS and 61 Nm, a 21-litre fuel tank and 17-inch wheels, plus a TFT colour screen, LED lighting and a four-way adjustable windshield. These elements together provide the same long-distance comfort and off-road capability that the model has been praised for.

Only the paint option differs: the new version arrives in Candy Lime Green, replacing the earlier Metallic Graphite Gray and Metallic Spark Black choices. The fresh hue is intended to attract buyers who prefer a more lively finish without altering the underlying chassis.
Vulcan S price change
The cruiser-style Vulcan S now costs ₹8.23 lakh, a rise of ₹10,000 over the prior model’s ₹8.13 lakh price tag. The motorcycle keeps its 649 cc engine, delivering 61 PS and 62.4 Nm, together with a six-speed transmission and Assist & Slipper Clutch.
Its ergonomics remain adjustable via ERGO-FIT, and the suspension travel figures are unchanged. The colour palette shifts to Metallic Carbon Gray and Metallic Bluish Green, replacing the former Metallic Flat Spark Black and giving the cruiser a more contemporary look.
Overall picture
All three motorcycles arrive with the same specifications as their 2026 counterparts, apart from fresh paint finishes and the modest price increase on the cruiser model. No alterations to power output, chassis geometry or electronic aids are reported, meaning performance envelopes remain consistent across the lineup.
