Opel will bring a lineup of commercial vehicles designed to meet diverse professional needs to the IAA Transportation 2026 in Hannover, scheduled for September 14-20. The German automaker will showcase solutions spanning from compact fully electric city vehicles to large commercial vans at the joint Stellantis Pro One C41 stand in Hall 13. Four models will be on display: the Opel Movano double cab, the Vivaro chassis cab, the Combo Tech, and the Opel Rocks with the Kargo Kit.
Movano Double Cab: Seating and Cargo Capacity
The Opel Movano serves as the foundation for a wide range of transport solutions, combining generous space with high flexibility. Depending on the version, the light commercial vehicle offers cargo volume up to 17 cubic meters and payload capacity up to 2 tonnes. The double cab version on display in Hannover provides seating for up to 7 people, designed for applications where workers and materials need to be transported together, such as on construction sites.

Vivaro Chassis Cab: New Diesel Engine Option
The Opel Vivaro chassis cab demonstrates how this versatile commercial vehicle can be configured to meet specific daily work requirements. The open cargo area, available in various configurations and accessible from three sides, allows flexible transport along with easy loading and unloading of a wide range of materials. The highlight presented in Hannover concerns the powertrain: for the first time, the chassis cab version of the Vivaro is available with the 2.2-liter turbo diesel engine producing 110 kW (150 CV), paired with a six-speed manual transmission.
Combo Tech and Rocks: Compact Options for Urban Work
With the Opel Combo Tech, the German brand presents a compact van with car-like design and features: standard equipment includes Intelli-Lux Matrix LED headlights, comfortable driver seat, dual-zone automatic climate control, and Keyless Entry & Go. On the cargo side, the Combo Tech offers up to 3.8 cubic meters of volume and a cargo bay length up to 3.09 meters. Depending on the powertrain, payload capacity reaches nearly 650 kilograms, while the fully electric version rises to 780 kilograms, maintaining the same practical qualities as other Combo models.
The Opel Rocks, measuring just 2.41 meters in length and 1.39 meters in width (excluding mirrors), offers a particularly agile solution for urban delivery services. With an electric range up to 75 kilometers and a top speed of 45 km/h suitable for city driving, this lightweight vehicle can be driven from age 15 in Germany, protected from the elements by a glass roof. The optional Kargo Kit allows small goods and items to be transported on the passenger side in an organized manner, out of sight and easily accessible.

The introduction of a diesel option for the chassis cab version fills a gap in the Vivaro range that operators relying on conventional powertrains have been waiting for. The IAA Transportation show opens Monday, September 14, with press day and the Stellantis Pro One stand conference at 8:20 AM CEST. The event will be open to the public from Tuesday, September 15, through Sunday, September 20, daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM CEST, closing at 4:00 PM on the final day.
